The concept of GAVMANAK was born in 2007 when our founder, Simon Gavaghan, began assisting a garments and military equipment supplier in the Philippines. What started as casual, voluntary support during the procurement process led to invaluable insights into the workings of this sensitive industry. Residing in Australia but inspired by these experiences, our founder envisioned creating a business rooted in quality and service.
Initially, importing protective equipment from the Philippines presented significant challenges. This pivot led to the introduction of Intrinsically Safe Dual Lights into Australia, marking the true beginning of GAVMANAK as it stands today. The dedication to nurturing a venture from the ground up has always been a source of immense pride for us, and it is this passion that drives our work forward.
